James Madison University Alternative Fuels Program
Fund Raising
The transportation research program in Integrated Science and Technology at JMU in cooperation with Garrison Press, created a cartoon map. The map features cartoons of local businesses and has ads/coupons in single file along the periphery for the featured local businesses. The map promotes downtown, walking, bicycling, and transit as well as car routes, in order to accommodate incoming freshman (who are prohibited from having cars on the JMU campus) and other folks interested in alternative transportation.
