IKM
IKM students study the role of information and knowledge management in technology and society while acquiring skills in systems analysis and design, knowledge-based systems, knowledge acquisition, and data representation.
Some important topics are:
- software and database development
- systems modeling and simulation
- object-oriented software engineering
- intelligent systems technologies
IKM students gain thorough conceptual knowledge that can be applied to information
systems in any field.

An IKM class is being offered next semester called ISAT 440 "Women and Minorities in Computing."
