The Department of Integrated Science and Technology (ISAT) is a department within the College of Integrated Science & Technology (CISAT).  The ISAT Department houses two MAJORS and one MASTER’s (M.S.) program.  As an undergraduate you can major in Geographic Science (GEOG) or in Integrated Science and Technology (ISAT). Undergraduate MINORS are also available.

If you major in Geography, you can obtain either the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree.  The ISAT major is a B.S. degree.  Each degree specifies a sequence of courses with some choice of “concentration”.  Check out the Academic Programs button for more information.

The Department Offices are in the ISAT/CS Building.  The Chair of the Department is Dr. Ron Kander, Room 321, 540-568-2740.

Mr. Paul Henriksen, our Student Coordinator, has the answers to most questions that entering students are likely to have.  Contact Mr. Henriksen in Room 121 at 540-568-2755 or e-mail him at:  henrikpw@jmu.edu.  His secretary, Fasha Strange, right next door in room 122 at 540-568-2790 or email at strangfx@jmu.edu
