Our Student Coordinator, Dr. Paul Henriksen henrikpw@jmu.edu can advise you as you seek to receive credit for work already done. Some Community Colleges in Virginia have articulation agreements with the ISAT Department which provide an orderly conversion of Associates Degrees into ISAT equivalents. You can also obtain credit for some ISAT courses by taking an exam. If a course you have taken at another institution looks like an ISAT course, you should provide Dr. Henriksen with a course description and the name of the ISAT equivalent you seek. Sometimes they will transfer as a specific ISAT course, sometimes as “generic” ISAT credits without a course equivalent, and receiving credit for a course does not carry the grade you received with it.
