1st National Summit on Geospatial Technologies in K-12 Education - July 2008

The National Center for Rural STEM Education hosted a National Summit on GIS in K-12 Education in July of 2008   This two- day meeting provided an opportunity for teachers, curriculum developers, and researchers interested in spatial thinking and the use of GIS in K-12 classrooms.  The conference included oral sessions, posters, and discussion sessions to help refine the national agenda for the use of these innovative technologies.
